Best Buns

This just became my favorite local bakery! I've web baking bread here an there for several years. I've always ended up with alright loaves of pretty dense bread, that never quite fill my interest!

So I called Best Buns today and asks about buying a portion of their starter so I could try a nice baguette. Not only was the manager willing to give me starter for free, he shared his knowledge of baking and his passion was apparent. He even went so far as offering to allow me to spend a few hours with his bakers seeing how they work with the dough and bake their breads! I was overwhelmed!

I will buy lots of brea and frequent the shop for sure! As well as take up the offer on a few visits! I'm so excited!
